celt from Marion County Indiana in
1967, my very first find on the Henry Holzhouse farm,30th Street Indianapolis. This has graceful lines. (side) This flared bit celt was found in a field that is now a housing addition on 30th Street.

Hancock County Indiana has seen better times. I was hunting alone this cold snowy
day in November when the wind was howling. I was lucky to find this relic with
the wet snow on the ground and my eyes watering.

I found this adz as Darrell and I walked from one rise to another. I found it
on the side of a large clump of dirt.

is well ground and polished. This celt was found on top of a rise with just a small portion of the bit visible.
