This bowtie
GORGET found July 4 1989
in Hancock County Indiana has one corner of the four broken off. Darrell, his cousin, myself and my wife parked
and started walking towards a rise on the far end of the field. As we entered the field we strolled singlefile
over a smaller rise at the edge of the field. The being Darrells birthday, he choose to hunt the smaller rise We
had walked the smaller rise many times and found a few small relics. I was last in the single file, and suddenly
I spied this undrilled beauty laying flat fully exposed. Everyone else had walked right by it. On this rise on
the far edge of the field I found the next item below.
This half
a pick banner was found 12/30/90
in Hancock County Indiana on a small rise east of Surgar Creek in an area which my parents owned land. This
was closer to the creek than the prevois mentioned ax. This relic was sticking up like a horn on the ground when
I spotted it. With me when I found this relic Darrell Cross. Hole The broken edge around the hole is ground fairly well indicating either that the owner was
in the process of grinding the broken edge to salvage the relic or it has lain in ht ground an extreamly long time.
Probably the former.
This chipped

Found in
the same field area as that item found 5/29/1995 is this MINATURE FULL GROOVED ax made of slate with a nice polish found 01/24/1999. I never htought I
